Polar Bear preschool fun

P is for Polar Bear.   Today we started our Polar bear week as part of our arctic learning month. This is a great month for my preschooler since living in Florida doesn’t provide any winter like winter.

After we did we morning circle, we started with the book Polar Bear, Polar bear what do you hear? By Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle. The book we used was a sound book and my four year old loved pushing each sound button when prompted.

Next my preschooler adventured in the polar sensory bin that I made. To make the bin, I used a rubber made container, artic plastic animals, ice, and shaving cream. The shaving cream made it snow like and also provided some blue coloring.  My daughter talked about this all day, she had so much fun. If I let her, she would have played in this bin all day.

Once she was done with the bin, we play feed the polar bear shape identification activity.

This was a great shape review game. It was easy to assemble. Check out this funny that happened while I was putting the game together, I promised I didn’t plan this.  I found this freebie on pinterest, the link is below.

 Thanks for viewing my post.
